Rich is a patent agent with a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, and assists with patent preparation and prosecution.

Rich has 30 years of experience conducting industrial research directed to the discovery and development of new chemical entities.  He has completed various research assignments at Syva, Eastman Kodak, Dow Chemical, and Dow AgroSciences.  He has also translated critical product performance requirements into addresable molecular attributes.

Rich earned a B.S. in Chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed a sabbatical post-doctoral study at Rockefeller University with Professor Emil T. Kaisser.

Rich is admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
