Danton is an Attorney at Brannon Sowers & Cracraft PC.  He is a member of the Intellectual Property and Litigation practice groups.  He focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution, focusing on computer systems, software, and information technology.

Danton advises clients on copyright, trademark, and patent preparation and prosecution.  His practice also includes licensing of intellectual property, and development of intellectual property portfolio and strategy for both start-up and established businesses, as well as related contracts.  His practice also includes intellectual property infringement research and litigation.

Danton enjoys examining the intersections of law and technology.  He published two papers with the Indiana Law Journal: the first on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, and the second on 3D-printed firearms.  He also published a chapter in The Money Laundering Market, discussing cryptocurrencies and money laundering.

Danton is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana.

Danton earned his B.S. in Media and Communication Technology from Michigan State University with high honors.  He earned his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
